Testa Dura II

Vince Vozzo

Exhibition: Thursday 5 July – Sunday 26 August
In this exhibition, Sydney-based artist Vince Vozzo explores his Italian-Australian heritage and shows how it has inspired his art practice.
Vince’s father Domenico arrived in Sydney in 1927, but was interned at Hay, NSW, for five years during WWII. He was then sent out to work as a Prisoner of War in different parts of Australia, including Alice Springs, NT, and Butlers Gorge, TAS.
This is a personal history of first generation Italian-Australians during WWI and WWII.
