Exposing Edith

Exposing Edith is a breathtaking cabaret tale about the greatest French singer of all time, Edith Piaf.
Created and performed by Michaela Burger (vocals) and Greg Wain (guitar) it showcases Piaf favourites, La Vie en Rose and Non, Je ne Regrette Rien, alongside lesser-known gems, and interlinks each with touching stories of the singer’s life. It is a stunning mix of masterful storytelling, authentic vintage French pop and contemporary sounds, all performed live.
The show has played to standing ovations at the Adelaide Cabaret Festival, Auckland International Cabaret Festival, Melbourne Cabaret Festival and in many other venues around Australia as well as for the Archibald Prize 2015.
Libbi Gorr, ABC Melbourne, called it ‘Sublime’, GlamAdelaide said it was ‘more than worthy of the standing ovation’, Rip it Up wrote ‘absolutely stunning and possibly the closest you’ll get to Piaf in this day and age’ and the Age described Burger as ‘a blazing life force’.
All agreed it’s a show not to be missed.
Exposing Edith will be performed in the Mildura Arts Centre foyer.
