India Day - A Festival of Lights

Sunraysia Indian Association Inc. presents A Festival of Lights popularly known as Diwali. Diwali is indeed the most awaited celebration among all Indians of India and around the world. The celebration will start with the ritual of “Lighting Diyas” (lamps or candles) worshipping the almighty God to summon health, wealth and peace in the world.

The event will showcase spectacular traditional and cultural performances from eminent artists of Sunraysia. There will be stunning elements and show stoppers to thrill the spectators.

It’s a family event and suitable for all ages.

There will be activities for children such as face painting and a jumping castle on the MAC lawns. Check out the food stall for yummy Indian food.

Sunraysia Indian Association Inc., is a not for profit organization fostering friendship, goodwill, and appreciation within regional communities of Indian origin and other local Australian communities living in Sunraysia region of Victoria.
