WHAT'S ON

Piano Recital with Piers Lane

This programme is all about connections: Chopin idolised Bach and in turn inspired the Russians. The first half pieces are without exception probing and moving and mirror the forms used in Tchaikovsky’s rarely heard work. Stravinsky’s colourful Petrouchka movements bring the recital to a dazzling climax.
