An Evening with the MSO

Melbourne Symphony Orchestra
Jaime Martín conductor
Beethoven Symphony No.7
The MSO and Chief Conductor Jaime Martín bring a spectacular program to Mildura this March featuring Beethoven’s Symphony No.7.
Premiering at a benefit concert for soldiers who had been wounded fighting Napoleon’s forces, Beethoven’s Seventh was an instant hit, enthralling audiences with its buoyant melodies and rhythms. The second movement has taken on life of its own, even being featured in the climax of Oscar-winning film The King’s Speech.
Join the MSO for a memorable night of stunning music, featuring Melbourne’s finest musicians.

The evening's program includes a Pre-Concert Talk with the conductor commencing at 6.30pm to which all ticket holders are invited.
