Woven narratives

Mildura Arts Centre Collection

Woven Narratives brings together works from the Mildura Arts Centre Collection by First Nations artists who explore weaving in all its forms—both as a hands-on practice and a way of telling stories. The exhibition looks at how stories, culture, and connection are woven through materials and memory. These artists use tradition in thoughtful ways to speak to history, place, and identity. Woven Narratives invites you to follow the threads—literal and symbolic—that hold powerful meaning across generations.
