Cultural Objects as Memory Holders

Filomena Coppola

Join artist Filomena Coppola for a unique workshop exploring the power of cultural objects as memory holders.

In this intimate session, participants are invited to bring an object that holds personal significance, whether it's a family heirloom, a cherished recipe, or an item that inspires your creative practice.

Filomena will help you connect with the memories and stories tied to these objects and how to bring these forth into your creative process. You can also bring along an artwork that you are currently working on.

Share and listen in a supportive environment, receive valuable creative feedback, and explore how these objects influence your artistic journey.

This workshop provides space for meaningful, emotional exchanges in a respectful, mentored setting.

Places are limited to 10 people from any cultural background.

The Gallery team can be contacted on 03 5018 8330 or gallery@mildura.vic.gov.au with any enquiries.
